I must, in the interests of transparancy, admit immediately that I am the falconer in question with regard to this project. I have seen many falcon photographs in my time and been 'handled' by many photographers but Kierens work is totally non-intrusive and the results are something special. As a falconer I tend to be hyper-critical when it comes to falcon photos and the life (or lack thereof) that they convey in a single frame. The images that have been taken of our falcon team in flight and under pressure are hands down the best I have ever seen (and I've seen more than a few!). So a special thankyou to Kieren and the rest of the team for their creativity and expertise and we wait with eager anticipation to see more images in the future.

What a sensational picture essay and an unique insight into the work of a Falconer. The images are beautifully lit and masterfully framed. Pic 5 wins the podium place for me amongst 5 other incredibly strong images. What a fitting tribute to David and his feathered friends within the context of a truly inspired arabian urban monolith.

Top marks to Kieran and I await eagerly the chance to view the film....
