The mask is made from a local concoction that the Bajau apply to their faces in order to protect their skin from the harsh sun and lighten its colour. I’ll post some more pictures from this shoot a little nearer the transmission date of the program

I like how you decided to blur out all the background without even the slightest detail except for basically the face. I like the makeup or mask of some sort on her face because I cant tell what it is and it makes me wonder if this is a tradition or if any one else in her village does the same thing. It would be interesting to see more images about how they live.
